I'm Melissa Victory, an associate broker for Powers Real Estate, a hybrid real estate company that combines a distinct understanding of listing and marketing Maine properties together with dedicated buyer representation.

I grew up in Waterville until I went off to college. There, I met my husband and moved with him to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. We lived there until 2004, when we moved back to Maine. I couldn't wait to get back to my home state! I currently reside in Pownal with my husband, Drew, and my 3 girls. I breed boxers and have 4 horses. Some of my interests include playing hockey, knitting, gardening, swimming, exercising and horseback riding.

When I began working in real estate in 2004, I took many courses to advance my knowledge and since then have listed and sold several properties. I love my job and I see it as more of an advisor and facilitator than a salesperson. My job is to help you find and then purchase the home of your choice or to sell the one you are in and find you another one.

My goal is to always keep you up to date with what's going on with your home. I will always call you with feedback after your home has been shown. I will also call you once a week just to let you know where things stand with your home. I am a firm believer in communication and I know, from experience with many real estate agents in my life, that communication can be something that is so lacking among agents.
